Meaux is a small town less than an hour from Paris.

The cathedral of Meaux is of peculiar fascination for me because of the north tower, highly reminiscent
of those in England (and uncommon in France), having tall corner turrets and what looks very much like perpendicular
panelling. Meaux had been under English control 60 years earlier.
